Carmel Bellarosa, owner of #Hairwizards Salon has spent over 25 years working in many high-end salons in New York. She previously owned of The Beauty Project 914 in White Plains, NY before relocating in 2019 and is now happy to call central Maine her new home.

The years spent working behind the chair have allowed her to cultivate her own style of Hair Cutting. Developing techniques to support stronger, healthier hair for both straight and curly textures. Carmel's haircuts have proven to help bring back hair health & hair growth...  this is how the term #Hairwizard was coined by a client.

As a Color Specialist, Carmel loves to create looks that her clients want to achieve. For almost 8 years she taught the science of hair color to other stylists as a COLOR.ME by. KEVIN.MURPHY educator. 

Carmel has been very lucky to work with multiple fashion collectives & was invited to work behind the stage at New York Fashion Week in 2015 & 2024.

Today, #Hairwizards Salon is born, and Carmel has really put her focus towards building a place that offers a luxury service, with a fun relaxed environment. The salon is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, clean beauty products & ammonia free & honey based hair color. #Hairwizards Salon believes looking great comes from natural sources... that's why all of our products are Sulphate Free, Paraben Free, Cruelty Free and Ammonia Free.
